Thesis: In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, advancement in the cultural

industry looks very promising as new technologies such as Big Data, AI and VR are

integrated in our daily lives.

Purpose: The focus of this study will be on the prospect of mass culture and the

tasks for the development of cultural industries that will eventually change through

the Fourth industrial revolution. Furthermore, we will look at the Fourth Industrial

Revolution, investigate the current changes in the cultural industry caused by the

Fourth Industrial Revolution, and conclude on the direction of cultural industry.
