1-3 English Speech Contest

Aim

1. Present to an audience any subject that has been approved by their E-level
class teacher. (E1-E6)
2. Present any subject as an expressive and entertaining manner with emphasis on
content, memorization, eye contact, gestures, intonation, voice projection, speed

and rhythm.
3. Gain confidence when speaking in public.
4. Act as attentive and responsive audience members and make simple appraisals
of other student speeches.

Operation Policy

1. Speech writing and practice. English teachers help to prepare.
2. Class heats. Students as audience. Video record.

3. Teachers will be the judge to evaluate the speech.
4. School Hall (auditorium). 1 or 2 best students will be do speeches on assembly

Detailed Promotion Plan

1. Period(Term): June Semester 1
2. Date and Time: Friday 19th June.(E-teachers can choose another day within this
week)
3. Target Groups of Students: All elementary students. Grade 1-6.
4. Place: Classrooms(Auditorium)
