BEHIND THE SPIRIT OF DETROIT 19

The creator and driving force being SPIRIT OF DETROIT MOTORSPORTS is

racecar driver, Leavy B. Morgan, II. Since 1982 when he was the only African
American with an FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) drivers license

at the Detroit Gran Prix, he used his passion and advanced engineering degree
from Georgia Tech to develop breakout design and engineering projects.

Leavy’s expertise in aerodynamics, engineering design, and suspension
powertrain configurations reached it’s current heights in The Spirit of Detroit 19.
He gained extensive ground-up industry experience in his true passion of a

career of technical development in the automotive industry. His high-level
experience in technological jobs have allowed him to accumulate a breadth of

experience in engineering and design. More specifically, Leavy has specialized
in non-contact measurement and advanced body-in-white construction.
Morgan has a proven track record designer and engineer and

with the partnership of Superlite Cars, puts forth a proposal to
bring his progressive visions to life in The Spirit of Detroit 19.
