Celebration of Regional Growth Awards

Honor Five Organizations

he 16th annual Celebration of Regional Growth
(CORG) Awards served as an opportunity to
Tcelebrate and recognize five organizations that
have contributed to a thriving region through their
investments and support of Greater Lansing. The CORG
event, sponsored by the Lansing Regional Chamber of
Commerce was held as part of the monthly Lansing
Economic Club program on Nov. 9 at the Kellogg Hotel
and Conference Center in East Lansing.

The five organizations capture our manufacturing
sector’s growth to secure our energy future, redefine
healthcare to repurpose retail storefronts, support
entrepreneurs, and address affordable housing options.
They are symbolic of the transformational nature of the
Greater Lansing economy: Allen Neighborhood Center,
Bekum America Corporation, High Caliber Karting and
Entertainment, Lansing Board of Water and Light and
McLaren Greater Lansing.
