The Malvern Qualities
Welcome
Welcome to the third edition of LINK, Malvern College’s newsletter for our valued Agents and Educational Partners.
Despite the challenges that COVID-19 is presenting each and every one
of us, I know from conversations with many of you that you are confident that interest in UK independent schools remains high and the concerns around Brexit are not a barrier to your families wishing to provide their children with an English education. We hope that the news of the successful vaccine programme in the UK is providing some much needed confidence.
The national and international news paints a gloomy picture of the United Kingdom and education provision in general during the pandemic, but here at Malvern College, we have maintained our first-class level of teaching, pastoral care and curriculum activities. Our pupils can now enjoy a longer lunch break and are encouraged to take outdoor exercise during daylight hours and get a break from the screen. Mr Lewis Faulkner, Deputy Head: Pastoral, has produced a Pupil Online Pastoral Guide which contains hints and tips on topics such as the correct posture for online learning and looking after mental health.
