Evamere R E P U R P O S I NG A N D D OW N S I Z I NG

Originally built in 1958, much of Evamere
Elementary building is nearing the end of its
useful life as a school. With the ability
to renovate and realign grades at East Woods,
McDowell, and Ellsworth Hill, Evamere will no
longer be needed as a school facility.

By keeping the 2007 portion of Evamere and
some of its common facilities, we can wisely
invest in Evamere as District Offices, improve
operational efficiencies, and—for the first time
in our school history—provide community
space for daytime Hudson Community
Education and Recreation classes and activities.

       REPURPOSE

• D emolish significant portions of building,

retaining west wing, gym, and 2007 addition
