AP Computer Science is a great course for students
interested in majoring in Math, Engineering or
Computer Science. This year-long class emphasizes
object-oriented programming methodology with an
emphasis on problem solving and algorithm
development. Students will code in Java to learn
the fundamentals of programming and Computer
Science. This class will follow the approved College
Board curriculum for the AP Computer Science A
course and is designed to be the equivalent of a
first-semester college course in Computer Science.
Students may waive the Computer Science I
prerequisite with department approval. Students
enrolled in this class are required to take the AP
Exam in May.

Fees: The fee for this required exam is $95
