COMMUNITY SENSITIZATION MOBILIZATION
             ACTIVITIES





             TARGETED MASS REPLACEMENT CAMPAIGN LAUCH


             To mark the Launch of “Mass replacement Campaign” a District Event was conducted in Mpwampwa Ward
             in Newala District, Mtwara Region.


             The conducted District Launch Event brought together group of stakeholders critical to a sustainable and
             ultimate  success in the fight against malaria by disseminating the key malaria messages (Correct Net usages
             and Net caring)  such as Political Leader, Regional/ District Management Teams, key Influencer such as Distric
             local artist owining to their ability to pull footfall, entertain and postively influence behavioral transformation
             of widee communities.

             To ensure conducted District Launch Event activities adopted content and resonated with respective en-
             gaged communities cultural norms, Saimal Communications adpoted mid media activities implementation
             mechanics of Community Theatre and (PSA) actvities which facilitated community engagement through
             local themed contest, whose performance were included in the respective pre- hotspots ground activations.


             Through conducted Courtesy Call, Saimal Communications aided by implementing partner T-MARC, Break-
             Through, NMCP and DMO made concerted efforts to actively engage District Government Adminitsrtaive
             Teams and Health Management Teams with consideration of Regional Commissioner as the main Guest of
             Honor (GOH) for the TRC District Campaign Launch Event.


             i.e  The  event  was  graced  by  Hon.  Colonel  Ahmed  Abbas  Ahmed,  Newala  Regional  Commissioner,
             District Executive Director (DED), DAS, Council Chairman, Community Development Officer(CDO), Youth
             development Officer (YDO), District treasure, District Security Committee and other key implementing
             stakeholder.
