I’m a British Citizen and a Professional Engineer (Bachelor of Engineering) with over 40
years of experience, 23 of which are within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), I currently
hold the post of Construction Director for The Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences, a
multi-billion-dirham luxury hotel resort located on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, United
Arab Emirates.

Other notable positions that I have held within the GCC include Senior Resident Engineer
(MEP) for the Al Udeid Air Base development in Doha, Senior Resident Engineer (MEP) for
the Mutrah Fish Market project in Muscat, Oman, Senior Resident Engineer (MEP) for the
North Gate Shopping Mall development in Doha, Senior Resident Engineer (Electrical) for
the Nation Towers development in Abu Dhabi, Deputy Project Director (MEP) for Al Yas
Island Development in Abu Dhabi, Senior Resident Engineer (Electrical) for the Burj Khalifa
project in Dubai, Senior Resident Engineer (MEP) for the Capital Towers development in
Dubai and Senior Resident Engineer (MEP) for the Dubai World Trade Centre development
in Dubai.

My broad experience has enhanced my Management and Engineering skills, as well as my
ability to assess projects from the perspectives of the Client, Consultant and Contractor
alike. These skills, coupled with my mindset that “There is Always a Solution”, allow me to
efficiently resolve any problems that may arise during the project life cycle and to drive the
project to its successful completion.
