                                                 The  $147m  Capital  Towers  development  in  Dubai  -  UAE,
                                                 constructed  on  Sheikh  Zayed  Road  and  represented  by
                                                 International  Capital  Trading.  The  complete  project  is
                                                 composed of a development in two tower blocks. The North
                                                 tower  block  and  the  South  tower  block.  The  North  tower
                                                 block  includes  a  high-rise  mixed  use  office  development
                                                 composed  of  38  levels  of  office  space.  The  South  tower
        Resident  Engineer  –                    block  includes  2  levels  of  basement  parking,  a  three-level
        (MEP Services)                           podium,  the  Monarch  Hotel,  meeting  rooms,  retail  space
        RMJM                                     and  a  Hotel  Spa  with  outdoor  pool  and  terrace,  14  levels  of
        Dubai, United  Arab Emirates
                                                 hotel  rooms  and  suites  and  20  levels  of  residential  suites.
                                                 The  total  built  area  of  the  development  is  approximately
                                                 114,700  square  meters.  The  electrical  Total  Connected
                                                 Load (TCL) of the project is around 18 MW.

                                                 The    $167m     Dubai     World     Trade    Centre     (DWTC)
                                                 development  in  Dubai  –  UAE,  houses  both  the  Novotel,  the
                                                 Ibis  Hotels,  two  levels  of  basement  parking,  8  level  of
                                                 multi-story  parking,  a  central  concourse,  twelve-storey
                                                 office  space,  three-level  podium  and  the  flagship  multi-
                                                 purpose  halls.  These  halls  include  Sheikh  Rashid,  Sheikh
                                                 Maktoum,  Za’abeel  and  Sheikh  Saeed  Halls,  Halls  1-8,  and
                                                 Trade  Centre  Arena.  Sheikh  Rashid  Hall  provides  a  flexible
                                                 location  for  almost  any  kind  of  event.  Sheikh  Maktoum  Hall
                                                 can  host  any  kind  of  banquet  configuration.  Za’abeel  Halls
                                                 covers  an  extraordinary  15,000  square  meters.  Sheikh
                                                 Saeed  Halls  brings  DWTC  to  the  forefront  of  the  Middle
                                                 East’s  sector.  All  three  halls  combine  to  welcome  over
                                                 13,000  conference  attendees.  Halls  1-8  extend  across  the
                                                 entire  complex,  opening  out  onto  the  two  exhibition
                                                 concourses with ready access to onsite restaurants, a retail
                                                 mix,  as  well  as  the  nearby  Sheikh  Rashid  Tower,  The
                                                 Apartments,  Novotel  and  Ibis  hotels.  Trade  Centre  Arena  is
                                                 the  largest  indoor  arena  in  the  Middle  East,  this
                                                 spectacular  9,100  square  meter  space  comes  with  14-
                                                 meter-high  ceilings  offering  flexibility  for  any  type  of
          DUBAI WORLD TRADE CENTRE
                                                 event.  The  electrical  Total  Connected  Load  (TCL)  of  the
                                                 project is around 65 MW.

        Senior  Electrical  Design               My  work  involved  drafting  electrical  specifications  and
        Engineer                                 performance  specifications  together  with  the  design  and
        Donald Smith Seymour  and                provision    of   electrical   services   for   buildings    and
        Rooley  (DSSR)                           infrastructure  services  to  development  sites.  Coordinating
        United  Kingdom                          and  programming  works  within  the  office,  on  site
                                                 supervision,    preparing    budget    costs,   analysing    and
                                                 reporting  on tenders,  providing  risk assessment  data.
