The $1.4bn Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences built on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai and
represented by Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) boasts a site area of 175,089 m² with an
overall construction floor area of 360,500 m² and a 1 storey basement car park area of 76,000
m². The development comprises a 3 storey podium (hotel amenities & town houses), a 43 storey
hotel tower (L4-L46), 791 hotel rooms, a 37 storey residence tower (L1-L37), 231 residential
units, external works, 3 villas, beach reclamation and 17 restaurants, bars & lounges. It was
designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), and shall be built next to the existing Atlantis
on the Palm, Dubai. The Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences is being constructed by
SsangYong and Besix Joint Venture (SBJ), and operated by Kerzner International. The electrical
Total Connected Load (TCL) for the project is around 52 MW. The project represents the second
phase of the Atlantis The Palm 2 (ATP2) Development in a growing neighborhood around The
Palm Island. The development is positioned as a premium hotel development with targeted
luxury attracting leading fashion, home, leisure and entertainment brands and outlets along
with superior residential accommodation.
