An examination of the investment in food security within the context of the

Green Economy Program, focusing on the Pinrang Regency as a case study.

               2.1. Introduction

The Pinrang Regency has recognized the potential for food security through

green and blue economic activities. This is supported by data from the Pinrang Food
Security Service report (2018). The local government has implemented policies to

achieve this, including: (a) Increasing production in green and blue economic activities
by diversifying food resources. This is achieved through strengthening institutional

structures and incorporating local cultural wisdom. (b) Optimizing the green and blue
economic program by focusing on economic efficiency. Pinrang's agricultural sector,

the national rice barn, is utilized based on its regional competitive advantages. (c) En-

hancing regulations for food product distribution to ensure a competitive and fair mar-
ket for all green and blue economy participants. (d) Enhancing the efficiency of food

security programs to promote economic growth by increasing farmers' incomes and
ensuring the supply and distribution of agricultural goods among micro, small, and me-

               dium companies.
The optimization of activities in the green economy and blue economy signifi-

cantly affects the sustainability of climate change and the environment. Tziperman

(2022) discusses the impact of cloud formation on climate change. They propose a
model that considers the influence of convection and moisture processes in the atmos-

phere. However, the establishment of this model is uncertain. This serves as an illus-

trative example of climate change. This model simulates the relationship between
climate change and the environment in the atmosphere. It helps us understand how

climate change contributes to the intensification of global warming, particularly in the
North Pole. This intensification is evident in hurricanes, forest fires, extreme droughts,

high air pressure, and heavy rainfall. Additionally, this model can shed light on various
               other natural disasters.

               2.2. The Natural Resources Advantage
According to Fu and Ng (2020), when comparing the development programs of

other countries worldwide in addressing the impacts of climate change and protecting
