Based on the above assumptions:
1. The cost of purchasing fertilizer is Rp120,000.
2. The price at which fertilizer is sold is Rp300,000.
3. The total area used for rice cultivation is 56,098 hectares, while for corn
farming, it is 10,815 hectares.
4. The total size of the plantation is 41,178 hectares.
5. The fishery land area measures 17,143 hectares.
After evaluating the expenses and advantages of investing in organic
fertilizers, projections are made for a 10-year investment period, considering a
loan interest rate of 14%. The analysis is employed.
The fertilizer sales in the first year amounted to Rp10.081.200.000 in
three County Districts: Patam-panua, Duampanua, and Cempa. The cost of
sales was Rp4.032.480.000. - In the second year, fertilizer sales were adjusted
to account for an increase in total land area of 125.234 hectares, which includes
fisheries, paddy, corn, and plantation. This adjustment also considers an infla-
tion cost rise of 2.39%, which is the average inflation rate in Pinrang over the
past five years. As stated by Atrill (Atrill, 2020). The investment estimate was
adjusted accordingly, resulting in an increase in investment costs to
Rp92.323.270.765,-. In the third year, the frequency of harvests increases from
twice a year to three times a year.
The whole investment amounts to 500 billion dollars. The annual sales
in the first-year amount to Rp225,420,624,000. The payback period is five
