include, among other things, the use of varieties that have been used constantly for
several years.
More than sixty per cent of the rice seeds utilized by the community originate
from the informal sector. These rice seeds are in the form of unhulled rice set aside
from the repeated harvesting that occurred during the previous season. In addition to
this, farmers make use of non-organic fertilizers, also known as artificial fertilizers. In
the past, farmers have never utilized organic fertilizers when planting rice in their fields.
It is generally agreed upon that using new fertilizer doses is not suggested. Yomari's
study indicates that using Yomari Golden organic fertilizer can boost production yields
by forty to sixty per cent (Yomari International, 2020) in an area of one hectare. This is
in contrast to other brands' provision of non-organic and organic fertilizers. Yomari's
research was conducted on an area of one hectare.
A comprehensive warehouse infrastructure in warehousing, ship loading, and trans-
portation is required to accommodate the anticipated increase in rice output from
638,983 tons to 894,576 tons, as determined by the analysis of the growth of rice pro-
duction. This, of course, necessitates establishing an efficient logistics system to facil-
itate the distribution of the increased production to other regions and even towards
export. Consequently, by making investments in warehousing connected with the con-
tainer port, the enhanced production support will not be damaged or even burden the
community, ultimately resulting in lower selling prices.
3.5.2. Weakness
The production of agricultural treatment in Pinrang by optimizing fertilizer will
increase by 40 per cent. Thus, the policy on the use of organic fertilizers must be fol-
lowed by the development of the integrated warehousing infrastructure in an area of a
complex logistics system in the Pinrang. The logistics location complex is close to the
port. However, without adequate logistical support, the increase in production growth
will not significantly impact the community.
3.5.3. Opportunities
In general, this project will yield advantages for all stakeholders, including
farmers, mill entrepreneurs, the community, and the local government of Pinrang.
Hence, it is imperative to distribute information to the leadership and stakeholder
