Onion Bombs



                                         Ingredients

               1 lb Meatloaf / Sausage
               1 egg
               1/2 cup bread crumbs
               1/2 cup parmesan cheese
               3 medium to large yellow onions
               1 package bacon
               1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce.


                                         Lagniappe



               Chop the top and bottom off each onion. Then separate into layers, use the
               larger outside layers for the bomb.

               Mix the meatloaf or sausage into balls about the size of the onion shells

               Gently stuff the onion shells with the meat, forming an onion seal around the
               meat ball

               Wrap each bomb with about three slices of bacon and secure with tooth
               picks.

               Bake at 425 for about 40 minutes or until meat has reached 165 degrees

               Baste with BBQ Sauce and finish on grill.
