Cooper’s Llano Texas

                                 Bar-b-que Juice



                                         Ingredients


               1 tbsp paprika                                  2 tsp black pepper
               2 tsp chili powder                            1 tsp cumin
               1 tbsp butter                                     1 medium onion (finely chopped)
               4 cloves minced garlic                        1 can of beer
               ¼ cup ketchup                                  ¼ cup cider vinegar
               3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce                   3 tbsp steak sauce
               2 tbsp brown sugar                            2 cups beef or chicken broth
               1 finely chopped bell pepper


                                         Lagniappe


               Mix the paprika, black pepper, chili powder and cumin in a small bowl

               In a sauce pan melt the butter or bacon fat and gently cook down the onions
               till translucent

               Add the garlic, bell peppers, and the dry spice mix to the to the onions and
               cook for a couple of minutes to extract the flavors

               Add the stock and the remaining ingredients, stir till blended and simmer on
               medium for 15 minutes.

               Remove from heat, let cool and puree the mixture
