Why is it that a profession that requires each new applicant
to take a psychological exam is also the leading profession in
employee suicide? How is that possible?
This is a question that the highest ranks in corrections have
attempted to answer for a long time, but—so far—have been
unsuccessful in doing so. It doesn’t take long for new recruits
to discover that a career in corrections is unlike their previous
job. As a matter a fact, a career in corrections is unlike any other
career in the world.
