 Keynote—Dr. David Black Dr. David Black is the

He speaks to law enforce-
ment audiences on topics
…and for relaxation spanning leadership, officer
wellness, recruitment and
 Scavenger Hunt retention, trauma, suicide
prevention, violent motive
 Yoga analysis, and mass casualty
events. He was one of two
 Jail Staff Celebration & Presentation psychologists nationally who
of 2021 Awards
served on the 2018 IACP Model Policy Group for Inves-
 Game Night tigating Officer-Involved Shootings and Other Serious
Incidents. Having performed more than 500 violence risk
 Club AJA assessments, he leads a team of highly experienced police

psychologists serving more than 100 public safety agen-
cies. He oversees innovative wellness and training programs
for law enforcement agencies, and recently developed a law
enforcement wellness mobile app that led to
two nominations for the Best of
Summit Hours California Awards.
