Exercise:
If you had to show-off the talents of the learners of your class through a poster, how would

you draw it?

Draw a poster that represents the differences and the similarities.

Spotlight:

The Indian spice box or the masala dabba has been part of the
Indian kitchens for ages. A masala dabba is a round stainless steel

box with a steel or glass lid. It holds seven or more containers that
are filled with spices used to flavour an Indian meal.

Most Indian homes have one of these, however, they could vary
in shape and size. A variety of spices are used for cooking, across

the country. The spices that this
box contains may be unique to a
particular state or region.

That is the beauty of the Indian

masala dabba; it holds together
spices unique in colour, taste and
fragrance and yet they come
together to make a delightful meal.
