                    Quote Unquote

‘If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still
each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas,
then each of us will have two ideas.’

                                                                                                    —George Bernard Shaw

                        Beginning:

In the 15 century, Nicolaus Copernicus, a Polish astronomer, was the
                                 th
first one to claim that the sun was the centre of the solar system. People
laughed at his idea and some even wanted to get him killed. Today,
Copernicus is known as the ‘Father of Modern Astronomy’ for proving
that the solar system is heliocentric. Do you think that Copernicus would

have succeeded and achieved such fame had he got scared by the
thought of people laughing at his idea and criticising his thoughts?
