Last tasks are related to the Let’s Do Review. These tasks are generally
for students to review what they have done in class and how they feel about their

work in term of their writing achievement and their cultural knowledge. In Unit 1,
Lesson 1, and Let‘s Do Review, task 13, for example, is for students to review

what they have learnt in the class and comments on wedding procession.

The tasks in the remaining three units are generally similar with those of
Unit 1 in terms of the design and material. Differences occur in the matter of

different topics where different media are used for the sake of more
appropriateness with the discussion. For example, more videos are used in tasks

belonging to more technological features of the unit.

                        6. Syllabuses

The syllabus items were designed based on the particularity of the IBLL
model. The items of the syllabuses were made to abridge the user of the model in

preparing the instructional tools. The items of syllabuses were designed within

units. Each unit consisted of topics, text types, objectives, indicators, materials,
activities, and values. The unit of lesson in the syllabus was presented in different

                        meetings with different learning objectives.

                        7. Assessments
The evaluation of the IBLL model implementation was designed into three

parts namely (1) analytic rubrics, (2) assessment technique, and (3) time of

assessment. The analytic rubrics were constructed to know students‘ writing
skills. It was used in judging the students‘ writing achievement after the IBLL
