c. Tasks of the IBLL Materials
This sub-section is related to research question 9 about the learning tasks
in the IBLL materials. There are 44 tasks allotted in the four units. Each unit
covers up to 13 tasks that can be realized in three or four classroom meetings. The
tasks of the IBLL materials are spread throughout the lesson under the three
heading of Let’s Get Ready, Let’s Act, and Let’s Do Review. Figure 15 below
shows the hierarchy of the tasks in the IBLL model.

Tasks are in the forms of various practices and exercises. For example,
tasks are designed such in form of such as Look and discuss, Discuss and write,
Give suggestion and comment, Review and discuss, Read and write, and others.
Below, Unit 1 is used as an example of how tasks are presented.
As a unit, Unit 1 is divided in three lessons which are lesson 1, lesson 2,
and lesson 3. Each lesson is arranged into three parts of activities which are ‗Let’s
Get Ready’, Let’s Act, and ‗Let Do Review‘. In the section ‗Let’s Get Ready‘ is
