ADVENTURE KIDS CREATIVE TEAM
Dr. Parker received his doctorate in Clinical and Child
Psychology from Vanderbilt University. Following the
presentation of his dissertation on the subject of child
motivation, he continued his research and clinical practice
during his tenure at Florida State University and The
Graduate Center, The City University of New York.
Ronald K. Parker, Ph.D. For the U.S Office of Early Childhood Development,
Editor in Washington, D.C., he headed a task force of 60 child
development experts to develop manuals for national
use in infant, preschool, and after-school daycare. Dr.
Parker was also a member of the original research team
for Sesame Street and Big Blue Marble, and his weekly
syndicate column “Your Child” was presented in over 200
newspapers.
Inspired by his years of research and practice, Dr. Parker
set out to create a unique interactive book in which both
children and parents can take part in the storytelling and
learning. His goal as editor of Adventure Kids is to serve
as a catalyst for the artist, writer, creative director, and
designer to produce a fun and inspirational book series
which promotes active learning, moral teachings, and a
spirit of adventure.
Yvonne grew up in a family of artists in Europe and moved
to the U.S. in 1985. She studied design at the New York
School of Interior Design and is an accomplished artist and
designer. She has visited over 75 countries in the world as
an art consultant.

Yvonne is responsible for coordinating and managing the
creative talent of the artist, author, and designer. Having
served as publisher and Creative Director of Parker and
Parker Press for many years, she has published dozens of
books on contemporary artists.
