WHAT IS A PODCAST?

A podcast is a digital audio file that can be
downloaded from the Internet, and listened to on a
computer, Ipad, phone or mobile device anywhere

They are effectively pre-recorded radio shows that can
be listened to at anytime on-demand, and produced
and broadcast by anyone with a recording device,
access to the Internet and a streaming platform. IS A

of people interviewing a guest or having a passionate
and informative discussion about a topic or issue.
Podcast tend to cover specific topics that appeal to a PODCAST ?
niche audience.

HOW CAN I LISTEN TO A

PODCAST?

ALL LISTENING DEVICES

A podcast can be listened to on your desktop
computer. laptop, Ipad, mobile phone or any other
mobile listening devices.

LISTENING ON THE GO WHENEVER AND
WHEREVER ON MOBILE PHONES

Podcasts can be listened to on mobile phones by
browsing online and finding the podcast you would
like to listen to. You can also dowmload IPhone or
Android phone apps to listen to podcast libraries.

By enabling bluetooth settings you can pair your
mobile phone and car radio and listen to podcasts, as
if you where listening to live radio while driving.

HOW CAN I LISTEN TO CSIRO

DISCOVERY RADIO?

Your podcast will be broadcast on CSIRO
DISCOVERY RADIO between Wednesday October
30 and Friday November 1st, 2019.

It will also be replayed many times on the station until
the end of term 4 this year.

A programming schedule will be released a week prior
to broadcast so your school and local community will
know when they can listen.

Your audience can listen to CSIRO DISCOVERY
RADIO online at www.XXXXX.com and on their
mobile phones by downloading CSIRO DISCOVERY
RADIO apps from the APP STORE (IPhones) or
GOOGLE PLAY STORE (Andriod phones).
