Phyllis Bement
Phyllis gives from the heart without expecting anything
in return, helping Girl Scouts as well as members of other
community agencies. She enables her sister Girl Scouts to
participate in special programs, and provides support for
them during diffcult times by lifting their spirits. Together
with a group of GSNEO alumnae she continues to support
the Girl Scout sisterhood by meeting with the Buffalo
area alumnae semi-annually. There are many treasured
memories of the times when Phyllis used her professional
travel skills to organize and operate exciting adult travel
adventures as Girl Scout “fun(d)” raisers. Her gifts are
many but shared insights, support, encouragement,
laughter and hugs are her personal favorites. Phyllis puts
love into giving and does so in a quiet and unassuming way.

character by founding and leading a successful and award
winning construction business, Metis Construction Services.
