Roberta Riordan

Roberta has led her Girl Scout troop from the time the
girls were Daisies through to high school graduation as
Ambassadors. Of course the numbers have dwindled, but
the spirit of the troop has deepened as well over time so
that she has developed a dedicated, positive, supportive
group of close friends that will do well individually and
collectively as strong team members wherever they go.
Congratulations and best wishes.

Judy Roloff
Judy was the staff employee at GSLEC in charge of Older
Girl Programming. When MJ White and I presented a
program for Senior Girl Scouts, the Senior Weekenders,
we were assigned to Judy, a staff person we had not
previously known. She was marvelous, supportive, and
helpful. All our ideas for the program were accepted; and
with tact and kindness, she made sure we followed Safety
Wise and council procedures and policies. She came out
at least once during every weekend event to visit and see
how things were going. She was a great loss to all of us
working with the older girls when she retired. Each and
every time we thanked her for all her help and advice,
she always responded that she was only doing her job: to
support the volunteer effort.
