Mac Sauer
Mac: Thanks for taking the time to be a leader in the true sense
of the word: Pointing the way we needed to go, giving us the
tools to get there, and letting us be free to do and learn. I have
great memories of outdoor adventures and I am still happiest
when out in nature. I have raised a confdent daughter who
was a Girl Scout; my granddaughter is now working on her Silver
Award. The seeds you planted are still growing. With much
appreciation and thanks - June

Mac Sauer

It’s been said that leading outdoor trainers is like herding a
bunch of “cats.” They are independent, assertive, sometimes
aggressive, opinionated, knowledgeable, dedicated, loveable
cats! At LEGSC the starting point to get the outdoor trainers
on board was MAC. Calm, unassuming, organized, the obvious
leader, MAC. Thanks to Mac’s leadership skills, trainers worked
their magic, and previously unknowledgeable adults were able
to feel comfortable taking girls camping, cooking outdoors,
planning outdoor experiences, and learning about the outdoors.
Thanks for making such a difference in so many girls and adults
lives.
