Jean Reynolds
Jean is a nature lover and a person of great integrity and
character. She is reliable, honest, kind, patient and loyal. She has
both the physical and mental strength to remain true to herself
and the ability to know when it is time to let go of something
- no matter how diffcult that may be - and to move on. Jean
is a joy as a team member and it is an honor to be her friend.

Dawn Obrenski-Riffe
From the very beginning our Service Unit could see that this
outstanding new leader wanted to provide the best troop
experience for the girls. Dawn was not only willing to go above
and beyond the duties of troop leader but actively sought out
opportunities to contribute such as volunteering for Twilight
Camp and organizing other Service Unit events. For accepting
the position of Service Unit Director and taking on the challenge
of leading our service unit, we thank you and honor you for the
wonderful job you are doing.

Catherine Riordan
I have a great deal of admiration for Catherine Riordan. She
is now a high school graduate looking at beginning the next
step of college; she presents an unassuming appearance, but
beneath that exterior lies the heart of a Gold Award Girl Scout
who has had the additional honor of being recognized as a
National Young Woman of Distinction at the Girl Scout National
Convention in Salt Lake City last fall. This led to being selected
to accompany GSUSA’s Chief Executive Offcer, Anna Maria
Chavez, to the International Conference on Girl Scouting in
Rome early this summer where she had the great opportunity
to meet Pope Francis. She represents courage, character and
confdence to me, having watched her navigate presenting
ideas and concerns at the GSNEO General Assembly and
Annual meetings. Well done, Catherine! I hope to see you in
alumnae activities now.
