service unit leader. She has worked with Girl Scouts and leaders
of Old Brooklyn, Cleveland, OH area for over 35 years. She has
inspired many women to become Girl Scout leaders including
myself. She organized many Service Unit Events and has given
endlessly to the Girl Scout program. Juliette Low would be

Kim Van Sickler

Besides being a very active leader for her own troop, Kim, as a
very dedicated Girl Scout volunteer, did her best to hold our
faltering unit together. After being merged with other service
units, she agreed to take on the role of Service Unit Director.
With her organizational and communication skills, she has
gently but frmly led our service unit in earning the President’s
Award for the past 3 years. She is there when we need her,
and she truly helps Girl Scout volunteers feel appreciated and
competent in their many roles. Our respect and many thanks
are sent her way.
