Carol Slater

Carol has been active with Lake Erie Girl Scouts for 38 years.
She was a leader of Juniors, Cadettes and Seniors and all 8
girls earned the Gold Award. She earned the Thanks Badge
for her outstanding leadership. She is active with the Steering
Committee and Lake County Trefoil group who meet monthly
making baby quilts for Blankets for Babies and teddy bears,
which are distributed through Telephone Pioneers and Fire
Departments. After her girls graduated, she joined the Girl
Scout offce staff and served in many positions. For many years,
she was treasurer for the Steering Committee and was active
planning trips as a fund raiser. Carol remains active in our Girl
Scout Council and enjoys the friendships she has made.

Silver Scouts from South West Cleveland

The Silver Scouts have participated in many service projects
over the last 25 years. The Silver Scouts include: Mary Ann
Stevens, Alberta Slusarczk, Dorothy Simcic, Vicki Kudra,
Pat Krakowski, Laura Koblenzer, Winnie Fograscher, Joan
Carruthers, Iola Carey, Martha Beckwith, Ann DiCaprio, Camilla
Aron, Rose Oberg, Barbara Krejci, Ann Taylor, Phyllis Bement,
Jackie Ebersole and Paula Schrumpf. Deceased
members are Dean Rightnour, Eleanore Connor, Lucy
Vunderink, Marilyn Koval and Pat Trodden. Vicki (Kudra)
Przybylski is an honorary member.
