Reflowing Your Index

If you need to add, remove, or edit a name, those changes should be made in the coverage report so that the changes
will be reflected across the entire index section.

REFLOW ELEMENTS
• After making changes in the coverage report you must click
the Flow button to apply those changes throughout your
Index Flow Elements.

Editing Your Index Flow

Once flowed, individual flow elements may be edited, cut, copied, pasted or deleted. This will only affect elements on
the current page or spread.

• This function is useful for formatting changes like colors or
styles of specific text.
• Adjusting the dimensions of text boxes in an Index Flow
Element after the index has been flowed will only affect the
text on the current spread. For example, if you decide a text
box needs to be smaller after flowing, the names that get
cut off will not move to the Flow Element on the following
spread.
• Editing should not be done if you are planning on
reflowing the index section. If you click the Flow button
after you have made edits, those changes will be lost
unless you reflow the entire section.
