Mission, Vision, and Values Statements

Mission Statement: FERC is a Non-Profit Organization (NPO) dedicated to supporting qualifying
students through scholarships to finish their secondary school education.

Vision Statement:

To assist only the students who meet the FERC selection criteria

To motivate students to continue their education and to provide a vision of the value of education
To work with Secondary Education Service Area Office 34 (SESAO34) as a recognized partner

To work with / inform teachers and advisors of the opportunities a FERC scholarship offers

To be financially sound and sustainable in order to meet our scholarship commitments

To be transparent in all our functions

Core Values Statement:

An appreciation of the value of education based on personal experience

FERC is a small organization with direct verifiable outputs/outcomes and less than 4%
administration costs
FERC represents a good cause with no personal gain for members

FERC is a Non-Profit Organization (NPO) with integrity and strives to make a positive impact by
assisting highly motivated students from low-income families in the Chiang Mai Province.
