Dear Mr. Bloomberg:

Thank you for your generous donation to Morehouse School of Medicine. I am
tremendously honored and appreciative.

I was born in Moscow, Idaho, but lived most of my life in Nashville, Tenn. Becoming a
doctor has been my dream since I was young. To pursue that goal, I attended Lipscomb University,
where I majored in biology and minored in chemistry. While attending Lipscomb University, I
gained wonderful mentors and increased my scientific knowledge that further inspired me to pursue
my goal of becoming a doctor.

Upon graduating college, I completed my Master of Science in Medical Sciences degree here
at Morehouse School of Medicine. I am currently a first-year medical student.

Since enrolling at MSM, I have grown as a person and I have increased my academic
confidence and have become a more critical thinker. I am inspired by MSM’s commitment to its
students, to making sure those least privileged in society are well taken care of, and to the
advancement of all.

The cost of receiving an education of any sort is very expensive and can be a burden. But
knowing I have someone willing to invest in my future financially has been a blessing. Becoming a
physician is something I am passionate about. Thank you for investing in my dreams.
