NPQML and NPQSL Support

To support the development of middle leaders and/or senior leaders and to supplement NPQML/SL participation, the Trust is able to offer
bespoke middle and senior leadership coaching and training. This can take the form of 1-to-1 coaching or a tailored programme of training
for teams of middle/senior leaders based on the priorities of the host academy (such as creating and managing a team, leading effective
intervention, monitoring the quality of teaching and learning, handling and analysing data, or preparing for review or inspection).

Our coaching programmes will:
• Set reasonable goals for participants and focus on achieving them
• Ask participants to do more than they would have done on their own
• Challenge participants’ assumptions to help them move forward and develop
• Provide coachees and participants with a sounding board and ask questions that will help them see more choices
• Provide honest feedback and expect the same in return
• Hold coachees accountable for their plans
