Leadership Residencies

This programme aims to provide an opportunity to collaborate with another academy in order to develop essential leadership skills. It
provides valuable exposure to another academy during a 3-day residency during the second summer half term where participants will have
an opportunity to reflect upon their strengths and areas for development as a leader. Additionally, two academies may choose to operate a
Leadership Exchange instead, giving leaders the opportunity to shadow their counterpart and build lasting working relationships. The
programme involves coaching sessions, leadership training and the completion of a reflective journal.

To access a leadership residency, contact the trust to express your interest. We will then broker the placement between two academies as
well as providing materials to assist in the coaching and training sessions, and a suggested format for the reflective journal.
