National Award for SEN Coordination
New or aspiring SENDCos will be expected to complete the National Award for SEN Coordination qualification provided by Real Training
(https://realtraining.co.uk/national-sen-award). This flexible online course will engage with real-life learning, the latest research, policies and
guidance. Participants are able to take the modules in any order that suit them. Module content covers:
• The context for inclusive education.
• Developing strategies and policies for inclusive education.
• The development, planning and application of inclusive practice.
• Working with others.
Participants will attain a Middlesex University-validated National Award for SEN Coordination Postgraduate Certificate – worth 60 Masters-
level (M-level) credits towards an MEd SEND.
