Q.S.S.S.S.A. “A” Grade Tennis pennant. The final was played against
Indooroopilly. Wynnum had a very convincing win and so we hold the
pennant for the 1957 fixtures.
A friendly tennis match was played by our girls and St. Peter’s
College one Saturday morning. Again Wynnum girls were the victors.
We would like to thank Mrs. Bunney for making her courts available
to us and also to Miss Hegarty and Mr. Cafferky for the encouragement
and support they gave us throughout the fixtures.

INTERMEDIATE TENNIS.
This year, for the first time, Intermediate School championships for
boys and girls, aged 13 and 14. were held, and were keenly contested.
Malcolm Bunney won from Neville Kohler, and Dianne Hargreaves from
Ruth McKee.
It is from the Intermediate School that future players are chosen
and these players should look forward to some day representing their
school in the Junior and Senior teams.
