                                     7st. 7lb. TEAM.
               This team, led by Harry Lamb, played excellent football throughout
            the season to be narrowly beaten 6-3 in the final of the metropolitan
            premiership.
               From this team Harry Lamb represented Queensland against New
            South Wales in New South Wales and scored both tries when Queensland
            defeated New South Wales 6-nil.
               Other representative players were D. Poole, T. Lederle and N.
            Whatley, who represented Brisbane. Harry Lamb was the principal
            points-scorer with 29 points, followed by B. Johnson with 27, T. Lederle
            15, N. Whatley 12, and D. Poole 11.
               Team Record : Won 8, lost 5, drew 2. Points: For 116, against 66.
                                    6st 10lb. TEAM.
               This team, led by B. Scott, had a very successful season. They won
            the Zone Premiership with an unbeaten record, and were narrowly
            defeated 9-3 in the metropolitan semi-final. R. McNeilly, from this
            team, was selected to represent Queensland in the 7st. 71b. team against
            New South Wales, and R. McNeilly, B. Scott and A. Thurlow represented
            Brisbane.
               Brian Scott was the principal points-scorer with 107 points, followed
            by R. McNeilly 58. A. Thurlow 33, F. Bain 19, A. Travers 17 and J. Pyle
            15. Twelve members of this team scored points for this team and of
            these the three points scored by N. Peach was the best "combined”
            effort.
               Team record : Won 13, lost 1. Points: For 274, against 21.
                                      6st. TEAM.
               This team, led by D. Bain, had a very successful season. Although
            many of their matches were very close and hard-fought, they won the
            Zone Premiership with an unbeaten record and then were narrowly
            beaten in the Metropolitan Premiership Semi-final.
               B. Rowlingson and G. Grant, from this team, represented Brisbane.
            Principal points-scorers were A. Burgess and N. Gallagher with 24 points
            each, followed by K. Day with 19 and R. Beakey 15. Ten members of
            this team scored points.
               Team record : Won 9, drew 3, lost 1. Points: For 104, against 29.
                                    5st. 71b. TEAM.
               This team, led by W. Russell, had a successful season. They won
            the Zone Premiership and were beaten in the Metropolitan Semi-final.
               R. Ricketts, from this team, represented Queensland against New
            South Wales in the 6st. division, and R. Ricketts and N. Kohler
            represented Brisbane.
               Principal points-scorer was R. Ricketts with 44 points, followed by
            P. Parker 27, W. Russell 25, I. Cushway 15.
               Team record: Won 10, drew 1, lost 2. Points: For 143, against 42.
                                      DENT CUP.
               This year the school was successful in winning the Dent Cup for
            the second year in succession. The Dent Cup is presented annually to
            the school which gains the highest number of competition points during
            the season in the metropolitan area, and to win it for two years in
            succession is a very high honour for the school.
