FORM 2C
From the best of the second Form our class was selected,
Jeff Kennedy and Phyllis Hargreaves were the captains elected.
And though none of 2C a real dill is,
At the top of our class are S. McDonald and Phyllis.
Form 2C is the class that has everything, Brains, Brawn and last,
but not least| Beauty. We were fortunate to have Mr. Maccoll as
Form teacher until September when he left on long service leave, and
Mr. McGovern took over as relieving teacher. We would like to thank
both teachers for the help they have given us with our studies, and hope
we do credit to them in the forthcoming examinations.
Our class has been well represented in all fields of sport. Although
most girls take part in some type of sport, Heather Sands, Diane
Freeman, Birtuta Rosichis, Wendy Cutlack, Lesley Gardner, Vicki Twigg
(captain of basketball team), Roslyn Bayton and Nancy Gillis are
amongst the best at sport.
Footballers : Murray Backwell, Frank Bain, Richard Copland, John
O’Neill, Des Williams, Norm Whatley, David Jackson and Jeffrey
Kennedy (captain of the open team).
Cricketers ; Murray Backwell, Frank Bain and James Allan.
Ralph Gwynne represented the boys of the class at the Primary
School Sports in September. Our only Cadet is Stuart McDonald, who
had the misfortune to break his arm while playing soccer. Judith

but all three have survived.
