when she achieved a high percentage in the Scholarship examination.
She is also top of our class. Next on the list is Dorothy Ingram and
then come Robyn Shepherd and Margaret Edwards.
This is the brief account of 3A1, but the names mentioned in this
account are not of the only outstanding people in the class.
We are proud of, and grateful to our teachers, who go to untold
           troubles to help (hinder?) us.
Truly, the best days of our lives are the days at school.

                                   FORM 3 A2
                                  Form Captain : J. Stobert.
                                 Form Teacher : Mr. Doube.
A mighty class; the school’s pride.
                         Exulted we on every side,
                         For Wynnum loves her 3A2's
And as a class we are the best
As we shall prove in next year’s test.
This year 3A2 wtih only twenty pupils has been generously endowed
with grey matter. The class outshines Form 6 at French.
We put up with the presence of the Domestic Science class during
some lessons. Ian Hastings is in the first eleven and Peter Grainger,
Alan Apps and Jack Stobert in the B team. Bevan Reis was under 16
champion of the school at tennis and also represented his school. Most
of the boys participated in one of the many football teams. “Windbag”
Newnam is among our ranks as are other band members, Grainger and
Fraser. We are carried through the ties of Maths. A by patient (?)
           Form teacher, Mr. Doube.

                                  ROOM H (3B)
This is Form 3B calling from Room H of the new building of the
Wynnum High School. We are a very industrious class and do our work
fairly well since we are doing the industrial course.
There are eighteen cadets in the class, four are in the band, three
are side drummers and one plays the bagpipes. The drummers are Ron
Sharp, Rendall Brown and Trevor Mischlewski, while Sandy Macaulay
           plays the bagpipes.
The fastest runner in the class is John Webb who came fourth in
the cross-country and John Farley is the second fastest and he came
           tenth in the cross-country.
This year our contribution to the football field was: Ron Sharp,
Keith Walsh, Mickey Taylor, Trevor Mischlewski, Reg Ellis, Ernie
Pascoe, Alfred Wood and Bill Canton.
So, with Richard Hoare our top boy, Mr. Lendrum our Form teacher,
John Keehn our Form captain, and Michael Taylor deputy, this is 3B
signing off now from Room H.
