           DENNYS RILEY
               “Wiser far than human seer.
               Yellow-breeched philosopher.” (Emerson).
           GRAHAM ROBINSON
“Ah cease, rash youth! desist ere ’tis too late.” (Pope).
           NICHOLAS SZKUTKO
               “. . . man, proud man,
Drest in a little brief authority.” (Shakespeare).
           RAY WREN
“Poor weak palsy-stricken church-yard thing.” (Keats).
           DAVID YOUNG
               “For poetry he’s past his prime;
               He takes an hour to find a rhyme;
His fire is out, his wit decayed.” (Swift).

                                    FORM 5A
                                 Form Teacher : Mr. O’Mara.
Form Captains ; Bill Davies, Frances Ede.
Form 5A, being admired all through the school for its perfect be
haviour, diligent study, and entire devotion to school activities, does not
need a great deal of introduction. We pride ourselves on being an ideal
class and a joy to all our teachers. The fine spirit shown in this form
has resulted in marvellous results by some of its members in the field of
           sport and in school work.
Bob KYDD : Outshines the rest of the class in our periodical
examinations. We hear his success is attributed to eight late nights
each week. (PS. He studies only during the afternoon).
Bob ROSE. Bob DORRIES, Trevor LEWIS : Also achieve success
in this direction. Incidently we are told that Bob Rose is contemplating
taking a series of PRIVATE studies in the Dutch language to further
           enlarge his field of knowledge.
In Fifth Form may also be found the senior athletic champion
           Gary Cumming.
Notable also are fine tennis players, swimmers and cricketers. Peter
Banney being captain of the school A team.

                                    FORM 5C
Although we are the smallest class in the school, we feel that we
are rather well-known. Whether it is because of our wanderings from
one part of the school to another, or because we are making history by
being the first class of our kind, we have not yet found out. But w'e do
know that Room 8 would be dark and gloomy without the five rays of
5C light. Ask any 5A student.
Glenys Jarrett is our top scholar, while Judith Cafferky is our ball
games representative; Julie Stayner is a member of the relay team
and Ann Nielsen has been known to “forge” cheques successfully.
Dennis Harris, the sole male in our class, seems not to dislike this rather
           unusual position.
Even though teachers sometimes lose patience with us, we come in
handy to use that wonderful invention—the typewriter. We often wonder
why we are never given the examination papers to type. Speaking of
           exams., good luck everyone.
