            Xingning yellow rice cake is similar in preparation to Pingyuan yellow rice cake. The finished prod-
            uct is thick and soft. The main difference is that Xingning yellow rice cake can be stuffed with stuff-
            ing, with the local speciality ingredient “Jiugengli” being a unique addition. The yellow rice cakes
            produced in the Huangpi area of Shangshan are particularly renowned.
