            鸡颈粄因其外形酷似鸡颈而得名,是兴宁的特色小吃。它的制作技法与粤式点心“薄撑”的
            制作技法十分相似。馅料中的“炕”  指的是用铁锅小火干炒至熟,不添加任何油脂,以保
            留原料的天然香味。

            ■ Dish Story
            Chicken Neck Rice Cake gets its name from its shape, which resembles to a chicken’s neck. This
            dish is a specialty of Xingning. Its cooking technique is similar to the Cantonese dim sum “báo
            chēng”. The term “roasted” in the filling refers to dry-roasting ingredients in a wok over low heat
            without adding any oil, preserving the natural aroma of the ingredients.
