OPRP Actions
Protect Yourself, Colleagues, and Guests - Focus on the OPRP SOP’s training and compliance.
The single most important activity a person can engage in to
prevent the spread of AGE including Norovirus is frequent
and proper hand-washing.
If crewmembers are not working and not feeling well, do not visit
any public spaces, go directly to their cabin and call the Medical
Center if he/she have the following symptoms:
Vomiting, fever (≥38°C, 100°F), abdominal cramps, diarrhea, sore
throat with fever, any discharges from your nose, persistent
coughing and sneezing or feeling feverish.
The key to minimizing the pathogenic organisms that cause
AGE is to routinely disinfect all frequently-touched
surfaces.
