o Is to alert the rest of the crew about potential hazards during the operation.
o A PIC can use more than one VO. This provide an improved situational awareness that
maybe reduced when using one or no VO. For example, the awareness of the visual
line-of-sight (VLOS) will increase substantially when using a more than one VO.
o A remote PIC must place VO’s in the proper location as well as having a reliable form of
communication established during the operation with the VO.
Section D – Questions

Part E – Falsification, Reproduction or Alterations
Section 1: Providing False Information:
o Providing false or fraudulent information or falsifying records to the FAA can result in
civil sanctions, suspensions as risking any certifications held by the operator/remote PIC,
being revoked by the FAA.
Part F – In-Flight Emergencies and Accident Reporting
An in-flight emergency is an serious unforeseen occurrence or situation that requires urgent
prompt action.
Section 1: An in-flight emergency
o An in-flight emergency may require the remote PIC to deviate from rules, policy and
procedures outlined in FAA Knowledge Test for Part 107.
o This deviation from FAA regulations, should only be temporary in order to respond to the
emergency. In order to minimize injuries or damage to property.
o This deviation must be followed by a written communication to the FAA explaining the
scenario from beginning to end. To clearly explained why the operator deviated from
FAA rules and regulations, if requested.
Section 2: In the event of accident
o The remote PIC must report the accident to the FAA within 10 days, if any of the
following has occurred.
▪ Loss of consciousness or serious injury to any person
