The teacher will invite students to
brainstorm potential guiding
topics in the first exercise.
Students can work in groups or
independently to create a list of
things that interest them. Students
will be encouraged to think
imaginatively and beyond the box
by the teacher.
After the students have generated
a list of potential guiding topics,
the teacher will ask them to
narrow the list down to three to
five. The teacher will then
instruct the students to perform
preliminary research on each of
the topics chosen in order to
determine their feasibility and
relevance to the study project.
The teacher will invite the pupils
to share their findings on the
selected topics in the second
activity. Students will be
requested to deliver a brief
presentation on each topic,
emphasizing its connection to the
research project and any relevant
research questions that may arise
from it.
The teacher will lead a group
discussion to assist students
choose a guiding theme for their
research project in the final
activity. The conversation will be
based on the topic's relevancy,
practicality, and level of interest.
The teacher will lead the
discussion and urge pupils to
actively participate.
