CONCLUSIONS
While the society golf revenue is generally strong, there is lots of potential to increase this figure. This can
be achieved with better use of dynamic pricing, better management of the timesheet and a more focused
society sales process.

It is important to pitch your society rates at the right price point to attract golfers to the facility, but it is
equally as important to maintain a quality price point that is in keeping with the rest of the facility. Below is
a synopsis of the current society rates at a selection of competitor golf courses.

*The weekend society rate was €35 until the end of November 2019 and then was moved to €40. (37%
of societies booked on Saturdays are paying €40). If the 68 societies are paying the €40 rate, it will give
additional revenue of approx. €6,800 (68 societies x 20 players = 1,360 golfers x €5 = €6,800).

Another report worth looking at is the average society green fee rate for Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort vs
other golf clubs in Leinster. The below figures have been recorded by My Golf Society and gives a real
estimate on the society business booked in by My Golf Society which is normally approx. 20% - 25% of the
total society business.
