CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT LAUNCHED TRUCKS CARRYING IP INFRINGING GOODS OF
OVER 39 MILLION BAHT HEADING TO DESTRUCTION SITES
On 16 January 2019, the Customs Department organized the ceremony of the “Destruction of Intellectual Property
Infringing Goods and other Seized Goods,” with seized goods worth more than 39 million baht. 6 trucks of IP infringing
goods were launched from the Customs Department futsal court to be destroyed, free of charge, by burning at Insee
Eco Cycle Co.,Ltd, Saraburi Province and by cutting, grinding, hammering and compression at Wongpanitsuvarnabhumi
Co.,Ltd, Bangkok.
CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT ATTENDED THE DESTRUCTION
CEREMONY OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY INFRINGING GOODS
On 12 September 2019, Mr. Chaiyut Kumkun, the Principal Advisor on Customs
Control Development attended the Destruction Ceremony of Intellectual
Property Infringing Goods, to which Customs Department delivered a total of
9,818,358 pieces of goods, worth 25,954,594.02 baht, compiled from 392 cases.
The ceremony was presided by Mr.Jurin Laksanavisit, Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Commerce and held at the Multipurpose Yard, 7th Anti-Aircraft Artillery
Battalion, 1st Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment, Army Air Defence Command, Si Kan,
Don Mueang District, Bangkok.
