NATIONAL SINGLE WINDOW (NSW) PROJECT


                               Following the Ministerial Regulation on the Organization of the Customs Department, the Ministry
                             of Finance B.E. 2562 (2019) dated 19 March 2019, published in The Royal Thai Government Gazette
                             Book No. 136 Section 57 Dated 1 May 2019, the Information Interface System Management Division
                             for Import, Export and Logistics have been established to drive the development of import, export and
                             logistics system, in alignment with Thailand’s 3rd National Logistics Development Strategy (2017-2021)’s
                             Strategy 2 Complete National Single Window System and Strategy 3 Develop Electronics Logistics
                             Process. NSW system is an integrated implementation among public and private organizations to drive
                             the development of information interface system between government agencies for information and
                             data required for imports, exports, and logistics. The system also improves services provided to
                             private sectors, facilitating them in permit/ certification requesting process, offering convenience in
                             terms of time and expense. The ultimate goal is to establish electronic information exchange via
                             National Single Window system.
                               Single point electronic information interface system or National Single Window (NSW) has
                             been offering information interface service between public and private organization, domestically and
                             internationally, since 2007. The system offers paperless information interface between the Customs
                             Department and business operators all over Thailand, as well as all related government agencies, and
                             connected with ASEAN Single Window (ASW), supporting the flow of 10 million electronic documents
                             monthly and approximately 9,000 business operators registered in the system, consisting of:
         1.  37 public organizations, state enterprises and agencies representing public entities connecting and exchanging data
           with import and export agencies, via G2G information interface, on 8,395 out of 8,696 tariffs, amounting to 96.53%
         2.  18 organizations on B2G information interface via NSW
         3.  5 organizations on B2B information interface via NSW
         4.  17 commercial banks providing e-Payment and e-Guarantee services
      SINGLE FORM                     •  NSW now supports single-point electronic permit/ certification requesting process on www.
                                      thainsw.net; with two officially available services: 1) Customs Clearance Information Submission
                                      for Import and Export and 2) E-submission System for Notification of Production Information for
                                      Hazardous Substances (Single Entry Form). There are currently seven agencies linked to the
                                      information interface system (namely, Food and Drug Administration, allowing access to all
                                      products under FDA’s control, Department of Energy Business, Department of Fisheries, Defense
                                      Industry Department, Defence Industry and Energy Centre, Department of Industrial Works,
                                      Department of Livestock Development, and Department of Agriculture.) System development
                                      during FY2019 includes:
