Part I:

                                  • In Chapters 1 through 4, I lay the groundwork, introduce you
to the importance of (self-)reflection and self- and people-
awareness for the matching concept, and describe
INSIGHTS MDI®, OutMatch ASSESS by SCHEE- LEN®, and
RELIEF Stress Prevention by SCHEELEN®, the tools that are
critical to your ability to match.
                                  • Chapters 5 to 7 are strictly application-oriented: "Matching
in Recruiting", "Matching in Management" and
"Matching in customer contact" are the topics.

At the end of your work with this book you will
hopefully have hopefully have a high and distinct
                                    matching competence!

But before we get started, here are a few brief notes: I draw your
attention to important findings and experiences with an
exclamation mark, and the stop sign icons give you the opportunity
to pause and apply what you have read to your own situation and
deepen it with reflections on the topic. Finally, QR codes point you
to further materials on my websites.

For me, the equality of all genders is a matter of course. Whether the
female or the male form or both are used at the same time: I always
address and mean all readers (m/f/d). This means that sometimes I
use only the generic masculine form for reasons of readability,
sometimes I use the female or male form in the text, and sometimes
I use both the female and male form. Please feel addressed in any
                               case.
